All Texas LEAs are required to post a direct link to the specific 
TEA webpage, linked here, on their local website. The link contains the information in the document related to SB 139 mentioned in OSEP Requirement 2. This is intended to provide Texas families with information regarding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Dyslexia, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. 



Talking Book Program for Dyslexia:


Students determined to have dyslexia or a related disorder, or to be at risk for dyslexia or other reading difficulties, have access to the Talking Book Program (TBP) maintained by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

The TBP allows students with reading disabilities  to borrow audiobooks free of charge. Over 100,000 titles are available, including hundreds of titles in Spanish.
