Your Chromebook has a magnetic trip sensor within the cover which turns on the device, or brings the device out of sleep mode when the lid is opened.
If your Chromebook doesn’t turn on after several seconds then you can hold down the Power key for a few seconds until the LCD flashes on.
If that does not work, then you have to ‘light-a-fire-under-it;’ no, do not create a campfire under it, simply close the lid,
plug it into your charger pack, and reopen the lid (sometimes you will have to hold down the Power key for a few seconds).
The device’s screen will flash quickly and then you will see the Chrome loading-screen. Leave your device plugged in so it can fully charge!
The battery life on your Chromebook depends on the amount of use you put it through.
