One of them is not reading them."

Welcome to the Center Point Secondary Library webpage. The Center Point Secondary Library has over 7,958 books covering many academic subjects as well as books for pleasure reading. Our goal is to provide materials that greatly improve student performance in the classroom and to encourage a habit of reading, responsibility, and good citizenship.
The Center Point Secondary Library is open every school day from 7:20 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The library is closed from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. During regular class and tutorial time, students must have an e-hallpass and must check-in at the circulation desk with the librarian. Students are welcome and encouraged to use the library before school, during morning tutorial time (8:38 a.m. 8:55 a.m.) and after school.
Students are allowed to check out two books. Books may be checked out for two weeks and may be rechecked if another student has not requested that title.
Charges for late books are accessed at 10 cents per day, not counting weekends or holidays. Students with lost books will be charged the purchase price of the book. Overdue library books and fines could result in lunch detention until library business is taken care of.
Our purpose for the library is to promote and foster reading. We also provide materials and reference services for the completion of class assignments and research projects. To achieve these functions, a quiet environment is desirable. Consequently, students are expected to share in the responsibility of maintaining an environment which allows the library to serve the needs of all students. Students’ behavior and actions should respect the rights of others to study or use in the library.
