Mrs. Sabyn Park - CPISD Board of Trustees

Sabyn Park is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.  While living in Kerr County, she worked 4 years at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital and 32 years for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System – Kerrville Division.  She currently holds the position of Division Manager for the Pathology & Laboratory Department at the Kerrville Veterans Administration Hospital.

She is the 5^th generation of her family to live and raise her family in the rural Hill Country “Small Town” setting.  She has been a resident of Center Point for over 36 years and during that time was married to the late Jonathan Park, former minister of Center Point Christian Church.  They had two children William (Sr. Class of 2013) & Rachel (Sr. Class of 2015) who have attended the Center Point School System from Kindergarten to Graduation.

 Sabyn became a CPISD Board member in 2008, and has served for the past 16 years, holding the positions of Board Vice President and is currently the Board Secretary.

She has spent many years as a parent sponsor for the Center Point Cub Scouts, the Center Point Girl Scouts and the Center Point 4-H Club.  Spent 8 years serving as the Young Adult, High School and Middle School Teacher for the Center Point Christian Church.  She served 4 years as an Officer for the Center Point Elementary Parent Teacher Association.  She served 4 years as a member of the Center Point School Health Advisory Committee and served 5 years as board member on the Center Point Public School Foundation.

She is proud of and believes in Center Point and it’s excellent School System, and she feels that only with our communities’ involvement, can we continue to build on our strengths and overcome our weaknesses.
