Destruction of Student Records
The Special Education Department of Center Point ISD will be deleting special education records that are no longer required in accordance with applicable law. All records of special education students who were served by the Center Point ISD prior to the 2018-2019 school year will be deleted. The former student or the parent may need these records for social security benefits or other purposes in the future. If a former student or parent would like their records, they may contact me prior to May 31, 2026 to receive their records.

El departamento de educación especial de Center Point ISD va a eliminar registros de educación especial que ya no son necesarios en conformidad con la legislación aplicable. Se eliminarán todos los registros de los estudiantes de educación especial que fueron servidos por la escuela del distrito independiente de Center Point antes del año escolar 2018-2019. Alumnos antigos o los padres pueden necesitar estos registros para prestaciones de seguridad social u otras razones en el futuro.
