Web Development

Web Development at Center Point I.S.D.

All students are required to indicate in writing, upon entering ninth grade, which endorsement(s) they plan to pursue.   A student may switch endorsements at any time by submitting a request in writing; however, schedule changes are allowed only during the first three days of each semester and  enrollment in courses needed for a new endorsement may be delayed until the beginning of the next semester.  A student may earn more than one endorsement.  The endorsement(s) will be noted on the student’s transcript.  Endorsements currently available at Center Point High School, and the requirements for each endorsement, are listed below.

  • Computer Science I
  • Web Game Development
  • Practicum in Information Technology

I am Kathy Robertson, I teach the Intro to Advanced Technology courses 7th-12th grade.  I have worked for CPISD for 17 years. the first 9 years was as the Special Ed./Student Services Administrative Assistant.  In the summer of 2017 they offered me the opportunity to become the Tech Teacher.

In 1994 I earned my WordProcessor Administrative Associates from Southern Careers Institute.  Then in 2013 I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Networking Systems.

  • 2021 I was awarded Secondary Teacher of the year
  • 2023 I received acknowledgement for 15 years with CPISD
